JKPSC Jobs Recruitment 2023: Online Applications Invited – Check Posts, Eligibility

Online applications are invited from candidates who are domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and meet the required academic/professional qualifications and age criteria for the position of Assistant Professor in various disciplines.

The recruitment will be conducted in accordance with the J&K (Gazetted) College Service Recruitment Rules, 2008, as notified under SRO 423 of 2008, amended under SRO-124 dated 21.4.2014, and the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (Business and Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended from time to time. The positions are for Government Degree Colleges in the Higher Education Department.

The Commission’s website will provide the Application Form and instructions for filling it out starting from 03-03-2023. Candidates are advised to read through the instructions and eligibility requirements carefully before completing the online Application Form. Prior to completing the application form, candidates should update their One Time Registration. The last date for submitting the online Application Form, along with the required fee (only through online mode), is 31-03-2023.

The cut-off date for determining eligibility based on acquisition of Domicile Certificate, educational and professional qualifications will be the last date for receipt of online applications as mentioned in the notification. The minimum and maximum age will be calculated based on the candidate’s age as of 1st January, 2023.

From 01.04.2023 to 03.04.2023, candidates can edit some of the fields in their online application form. It is not necessary for candidates to submit any hard copies or documents to the Commission. Candidates are advised to submit their online applications well before the closing date to avoid the possibility of disconnection, inability to pay fees, or login failures.
