JKBOPEE Allocation of MBBS/BDS Seats for Spouse Children of Terrorist Victims: Check Eligibility and Notification

Pursuant to communication No.17015/47/2022-CT-II dated 01.11.2022 from Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, offline applications are invited from eligible candidates on prescribed format annexed as Annexure-A to this notification for allocation of MBBS/BDS Seats from the Central Pool for Spouse of Children of Terrorist Victims for academic year 2022-23. Briefly the eligibility is reproduced as under:-

Eligibility Conditions:
Only the children of

  • i. Permanent residents of the State/UT concerned;
  • ii. the employees of the State/UT Government concerned;
  • iii. the employees of Central /Other State / UT Government on deputation to the State/UT concerned and
  • iv. the employees of Central /Other State / UT Govt. posted in and having their headquarters within the State/UT concerned will be eligible.

The children of Central/State/UT Government employees aforementioned should be treated
at par with the local resident.

Educational Qualification.
The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology and English individually and have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OSC, 45% for Gen- PwD category candidates & 40% for SC/ST/OBC-PWD
candidates) taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology at the qualifying examination as mentioned in the clause-4 (2) of Regulations of Graduate Medical Education
1997.

Selection of Candidates.
The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test -2022 being conducted by the National Testing Agency. As per Graduate Medical Education Regulations 1997 of Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC), it shall be necessary for the candidates to obtain minimum marks at 50th percentile at NEET-2022. However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. However, in respect of candidates with specified disability, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile. The percentile shall be determined on the basis of highest marks scored in the All India Common Merit List in National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

Reservation.
The Reservation Policy being followed by the UT of J&K shall apply on Central Pool
MBBS/BDS Seats.

The Documents Required to be attached are as under:-
1. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K
2. NEET- Score Card 2022.
3. 10+2 Marks Card.
4. Date of Birth Certificate.
5. Category Certificate, if any.
