IPL 2023 Auction: Mr. Arun Dhamal, chairman of the BCCI’s IPL governing council, has announced the date, time, and location of the IPL 2023 auction. In 2008, the Board of Control for Cricket in India established the world’s largest cricket league.
We are now in the 16th season of the world-renowned Cricket league, IPL t20. We are all aware that this is the event that has millions of cricket fans glued to their television screens.

This year’s retention date is November 15th, 2022. It means that all franchises must reveal the list of retaining players before the deadline. At the same time, the IPL 2023 Player Auction Date is set for December 16, 2022.
Some franchises have revealed their retained player list. The franchise management began reviewing players who had been released by other teams.
Throughout this auction, all franchises will keep an eye on the filling of gaps and loopholes in their team. The BCCI will be the authority in charge of bringing players to the auction.

BCCI reserves the right to alter its player retention policy for each new season. Last year, in 2022, each franchise could keep a maximum of four players.
